For a traditional private dining experience, Kilworth House offers several elegant rooms within the main house.

The Byron is an intimate private dining room for up to eight guests, making it ideal for smaller family dinners, anniversaries or celebrations with close friends. Set at the heart of the house, it enjoys views over the knot garden.

The Shakespeare can accommodate up to 20 guests and provides an elegant setting for birthdays, family celebrations and private dinners. The room is known for its beautiful period features, including the striking gold leaf architrave, antique 'Lamb of Manchester' dining table and impressive chandelier.

The Library features its own lounge and bar, allowing guests to enjoy a pre-dinner drink before moving through to the private dining room. Rich décor, original bookcases and a Victorian fireplace create a warm, luxurious atmosphere, while views over the knot garden and access to the fountain terrace make it an ideal setting for relaxed celebrations with added privacy.

Private bookings at The Staging Post

For something a little different, The Staging Post offers a private venue within the Kilworth House grounds beside the theatre. Reached by a wooden bridge through the woodland, the log cabin has its own bar, open fire and terrace. Guests can dine inside or on the terrace when the weather allows.

Available throughout the year (excluding June, July and August) The Staging Post can be hired for private dining, birthdays, parties, weddings, corporate events or as a private theatre bar. This makes it a flexible choice for groups who want the privacy of their own venue without the formality of a traditional dining room.
