What to Expect

This summer, Kilworth House Theatre will host a lavish staging of Cole Porter’s classic musical Anything Goes, directed and choreographed by Lee Proud, returning to lead the same creative team behind several of the theatre’s most acclaimed productions.

Set aboard the luxurious ocean liner S.S. American, the story is a joyful mix of mistaken identities, romantic entanglements, and comic twists featuring a lovestruck stowaway, a glamorous debutante, an eccentric fiancé, and even a gangster disguised as a minister. With Porter’s celebrated score including “I Get a Kick Out of You,” “You’re the Top,” “Friendship,” and the iconic “Anything Goes,” audiences can expect an evening full of sparkle, wit, and toe-tapping tunes.

All of this unfolds in the unique open-air setting of Kilworth House Theatre,  combining West End-standard musical theatre with the natural beauty and atmosphere of the estate grounds.

Running from 23 June to 2 August 2026, this limited-season production is expected to be one of the highlights of the summer. Tickets are on sale now, and early booking is strongly advised. Guests can add a special touch the experience with pre-theatre dining or a theatre-break package, enjoying an overnight stay at Kilworth House and a delicious meal before the show (please note dining is not available on select exclusive dates).
