A true English institution that was invented in the nineteenth century, by the aristocracy for the aristocracy. Afternoon Tea is an unforgettable occasion.

A most delicious extravagance

Afternoon Tea in the Orangery has been enjoyed at Kilworth House for more than 100 years, so it really is a timeless classic. Residents can enjoy our delicate pastries and sandwiches, all served on our beautiful silver three tier stands befitting of the beautiful surroundings. This delectable treat is arranged on a large three-tiered stand, and is always a standout event. It is served from 2pm to 4.30pm, Monday to Saturday, and from 4pm onwards on Sundays. Please note that prior booking is essential.

All bookings for Afternoon Tea require all guests in the party to partake of the full tea however our excellent value and generous portions results in many guests taking a few of their cakes home to enjoy later in the day. Don't be afraid to ask for a box to take home.
