Christmas Eve
Check in from 3:00pm on Christmas Eve and ease into the festivities with a delightful Afternoon Tea served in the Wordsworth or lounge until 4:30pm. From 6:30pm, enjoy a medley of festive favourites performed by the Phollies Choir, before a sumptuous dinner is served in our stunning Victorian Orangery from 7:00pm. After dinner, unwind with a drink in the lounge to close the evening in comfort. For those who wish to attend, several local churches offer traditional Midnight Mass services.
Christmas Day
Awake on Christmas morning to the peaceful charm of Kilworth House and its beautiful grounds. Take time to relax or explore before sitting down at 1:00pm for a fabulous Christmas lunch, thoughtfully prepared and elegantly served. In the afternoon, enjoy a stroll through the estate or simply unwind as we continue to take care of you. Later in the evening, a sumptuous buffet brings your Christmas Day to a perfect close.
Boxing Day
Start your day with a wonderful breakfast, then take time to explore the local area. Enjoy a scenic trip to Rutland Water, catch a festive pantomime at a nearby theatre, or indulge in some seasonal shopping. Prefer to stay in? A stylish Jazz Lunch is served in the Orangery (please note, advance booking is required and subject to availability). In the evening, return for a relaxed dinner in the Orangery before retiring for a restful night’s sleep ahead of your departure.
