Hotel Pre Paid Reservations

During the period in which we are required to operate with social distancing and other preventative and protective measures, we are adding temporary addendums and additional clauses to ensure our current Terms and Conditions reflect an understanding of the ongoing situation with the Covid-19 Pandemic.

The additional clauses set out below apply to all pre paid hotel reservations and event bookings (excluding Theatre in the Orangery bookings as these have separate terms and conditions) between December 2020 and March 2021 only. Where Government guidance and guidelines are updated, these temporary amendments to the Terms and Conditions will be updated accordingly

PLEASE NOTE: Unless otherwise stated below as an Additional Clause or temporary addendum, the remainder of our terms and conditions shall remain in full force and effect as per your confirmation.

 

CANCELLATIONS AND POSTPONMENTS

Temporary Addendum:  Pre Paid bookings cannot be cancelled after booking unless the reservation is abandoned, rescheduled, or where a member of your party is exhibiting symptoms of Covid-19 or has been instructed to self-isolate by NHS Track and Trace prior to the date of arrival or where there is a material change to the reservation.

Additional Clause: If you are unable to visit the hotel due to you or one of your party being required to self-isolate for Covid-19, please contact the Sales Office, as your reservation may be transferred to a later date, subject to availability.

For customers who are experiencing symptoms or have tested positive for Covid-19, reservations will be reschedule for an alternative date no sooner than 15 days from the customer’s first day of self-isolation.

For customers who have someone in their household experiencing symptoms or tested positive for Covid-19, have been contacted by NHS Track and Trace or are required to quarantine in accordance to public health measures at the border, reservations can be reschedules for an alternative date no sooner than 15 days from the customer’s first day of self-isolation.

Where reservation amendments are made due to a customer needing to self-isolate in relation to Covid-19, or being under Tier2 or 3 restrictions no fee will apply. If it is not possible to transfer your reservations to a later date, you will be offered the choice of having your monies held as a hotel credit note for future use or a refund.

 

ADDITIONAL NOTE

By entering the hotel, you and your party are confirming they are not exhibiting any symptoms of Covid-19, have not been contacted and instructed by Track & Trace to self-isolate, are not under Tier restrictions where mixing indoors is not permitted and will abide by all the safety measures put in place at the hotel.
