Temperature Checks

For the safety of all staff and guests we request that your temperature is taken upon arrival via our automated temperature device and if your temperature is 37.8 degrees or above, unfortunately, you will be declined entry and your stay re-scheduled.


Health Questionnaire

As part of our health screening procedure, a pre-arrival health questionnaire will be either sent to guests one day before arrival or will be completed via a telephone conversation. This must be completed before arriving at the Hotel. If in the unfortunate case, you have any COVID-19 symptoms outlined by the Government such as a high temperature, a new persistent cough or a change or loss of taste and smell, we ask that you contact us and allow us to reschedule your stay.


NHS Track and Trace App

We have displayed the official NHS QR code poster in our Reception Areas so that guests can ‘check-in’ at different premises. We encourage all guests to use this to enable the NHS to contact you if necessary, following a visit, should you have unfortunately come into contact with someone else who has been advised to self-isolate. In addition, we will require one person from each party to provide their contact details which we will hold for a period of 21 days. This information is taken purely for contact purposes in relation to Covid 19 and will not be used for any other purpose.


Social Distancing

We ask all guests and staff to continue to respect social distancing.


Rule of Six

In line with Government guidance we are able to take bookings for groups of 6 people or two households. We will be unable to accommodate parties who book separately with the intention of joining up on the day and who are clearly a larger group.


Cleaning of all areas

We are renowned for our high standards of housekeeping throughout however there will be a visible increase in the frequency of our cleaning including regular disinfection of all “touchpoints”.


Face Coverings

From the 19th July our staff  will continue to wear face coverings. Guests may choose to continue to wear face masks if they wish.


Hand Sanitising Stations

Hand sanitising stations have been installed at the main entrance and throughout the hotel. We encourage guests to regularly disinfect their hands/wash their hands throughout their stay.


Payments

Where possible we request guests to pay using contactless or Apple Pay. We are trying to keep monetary payments to a minimum. If payment is via Chip and Pin then we request that you sanitise your payment card and we will sanitise the card device. Contactless payments may be for up to £45 or £10,000 for Apple Pay, Android Pay or Google Pay.


Team Members

All employees of Kilworth House Hotel and Theatre have undertaken training for their specific area of work and are provided with necessary personal protective equipment. All staff are required to have their temperature checked prior to starting work, to wash their hands regularly throughout their shift and to sanitise on a regular basis.


Emergency Evacuation

In the event of an evacuation we request that all guests assemble at the Front of the Hotel whilst maintaining social distancing. A separate area to the West Wing of the building has been designated for staff to assemble in their departmental bubbles.


Additional Note

By entering the hotel, you and your party are confirming they are not exhibiting any symptoms of Covid-19, have not been contacted and instructed by Track & Trace to self-isolate and will abide by all the safety measures put in place at the hotel.
