Housekeeping Turndown Assistant

You will be delivering the hotel's bedroom turndown service including refreshing guest bathrooms.  Experience is desirable however training given.  You will need to be energetic and be able to work to a high standard.  Hours are approximately 4.00pm to 9.00pm, includes working weekends. Rate of pay starts at £7.00 per hour plus gratuities. Post is 25 hours per week, 5 days out of 7

Kitchen Porter - Casual

You will work as part of the Back of House team at Kilworth House Hotel and Theatre to achieve and maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene

Operating dish washing machine
General deep cleaning of kitchen equipment
General tidying of the back of house area
Empty bins
The putting away of deliveries
Cleaning of Kitchen changing rooms
Ensure staff room tidy and clean
Ensure all back of house areas are swept and mopped on a daily basis
Maintain hygiene standards in areas of responsibility
Any other duties associated with the Back of House Department that you are asked to undertake
To ensure that Health, safety and hygiene regulations enforced

Night Porter

We are looking for a full time Night Porter, 40 hours per week, working 5 shifts out of 7.


The duties of the Night Porter role at Kilworth House Hotel and Theatre are:

Set, clear and clean all conference rooms to the agreed standard

Set private dinners and weddings to agreed standards

Perform security procedures throughout the evening

Looking after all guests within the hotel

Providing a 24 hour Room service, Reception service and Bar service when required

Delivering newspapers

Answering the telephone

Mop and buff The Orangery floor

Emergency responsibilities in line with company policies

Commis Chef

We are looking for a Commis Chef. The position is full time working 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7, split shifts.  You will work under the guidance of a Chef de Partie and Demi Chef de Partie and have the opportunity to continue your Professional Cookery qualifications on day release at a local College if you do not already possess your Level 3 qualification.

Food and Beverage Assistant

The Food and Beverage department is looking for a Food and Beverage Assistant to provide our guests with outstanding customer service in all of the food and beverage outlets at Kilworth House.  Key responsibilities will include meeting and greeting customers, providing an efficient food service, keeping the restaurants and front of house areas clean and tidy, laying up the restaurant and dining rooms, maximising sales opprtunities through up selling, ensuring all charges are posted correctly and payments are received and maintaining Kilworth House Hotel and Theatre's health, safety and cleanliness standards.

The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience in a similar role, be able to communicate effectively in English, be able to work well under pressure and have a friendly, flexible and professional nature
