Mad Hatter’s Afternoon Tea

Afternoon tea is an English institution – a nineteenth-century invention to lift the aristocracy’s spirits when they felt peckish towards the end of the day. Tea at Kilworth House has, therefore, remained true to its roots. There is a generous range of sandwiches, scones, cakes and pastries, plus ten varieties of tea.
Afternoon tea is served every day from 2pm Monday to Saturday, and from 4pm on Sundays in either the Orangery or Wordsworth subject to availability.
Tables are allocated for two hours to allow adequate time to relax over tea and booking is essential.
