Animal Policy
Please be aware that no animals are allowed in the hotel or grounds with the exception of service dogs.
Confirmation
Written confirmation is required within 14 days of the original verbal booking with a best estimate of numbers and a £1000 non-refundable deposit (£2000 for exclusive wedding bookings). The hotel reserves the right to cancel a booking if written confirmation is not received after 14 days. All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Numbers
Final numbers to be confirmed 48 hours in advance and this will be the minimum number, which will be charged.
Please note that the minimum numbers
for a wedding reception in the Orangery are 80 adult guests on the wedding package. On Friday and Saturday the minimum number of guests required is
80 adult guests from the wedding breakfast and evening buffet package.
Cancellation
In the event of cancellation there will be a charge of:
- 3 - 6 months in advance: 30% of the total anticipated charges
- 1 - 3 months in advance: 60% of the total anticipated charges
- Less than 1 month: 90% of the total anticipated charges
- 7 days in advance: 100% of the total anticipated charges
Finishing times
All events must finish at the time agreed when booking and an extension of time may not be possible.
Price variation
Kilworth House Hotel reserves the right to increase prices in the event of circumstances beyond it's control,
e.g. increases in VAT.
Agents
Should a client contract with Kilworth House Hotel through an agent, the agent acts for the client and it is the clients responsibility for the payment of the Kilworth House Hotel account.
Payment
30% of the balance is required 6 months in advance of the wedding. A further 30% is required 3 months in advance,
followed by full payment 4 weeks prior
to the wedding. All extras must be settled on departure.
Damage
Clients are responsible to Kilworth House Hotel for any damage caused by the clients, their guests, agents or employees.
Equipment and property
Clients' own equipment and property is bought in to Kilworth House Hotel at their own risk and Kilworth House Hotel accepts no liability for loss or damage.
Force majeure
If Kilworth House Hotel is limited or hindered from hosting the event or providing any facility booked by the client due
to circumstances beyond its
control e.g. Government intervention, acts of God, civil disturbance, war, national or local disaster, strikes, labour disputes, then the liability of
Kilworth House Hotel to the client shall not exceed the amount paid
by the client to Kilworth House Hotel in respect of the event.
Contract
When a booking is confirmed in writing; with a deposit; or with a credit card number, a contract is deemed to exist.
This contract shall be governed in
all respects by English law. It can only be modified by a supplementary written contact. Kilworth House Hotel will endeavour to provide the contracted meeting
or event room. However, the hotel reserves the right
to relocate the meeting or event to a different room or area of the hotel, whilst fulfilling all other
criteria of the booking.

When commission is due to be paid, this will be paid on accommodation, room hire, delegate rates (whether day or 24 hour rate) and pre-booked (prior to arrival) food and beverage.

Where credit facilities have been granted by Kilworth House Hotel final payment of the charges due for the meeting/events must be paid by the client within 14 days of the due date of the invoice. All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
